Unfortunately, most social media marketing practices simply focus on promoting one piece of content at a time. Marketing campaigns are evaluated solely on one key metric: traffic and nothing else. This really is too bad because this short-sighted approach to social media marketing prevents its finer points, and I would argue more powerful potential to fully blossom and produce solid results, as far as your bottom line is concerned.

There has to be a vivid interconnection between your content marketing efforts and your social media campaigns. At the very least, your brand’ social media engagement must be reflected in the actual text or content that you publish in your content marketing efforts. There has to be this ongoing dialogue where each marketing campaign is shaping and influencing each other.
